Loki: I am Loki, of Asgard and I am burdened with glorious purpose. I come with glad tidings of a world made free. Nick Fury: Free from what? Loki: Freedom. Freedom is life's great lie. Once you accept that, in your heart... you will know peace. The Avengers
Tom Hiddleston as Loki from The Avengers. In case you were living in an internetless batcave these past months.
I've had this bottled up ever since I saw The Avengers in May. Because I was graduating I didn't have time to draw, or do anything else but reading, writing and revising. So I'm only now coming to a point where I can deal with my Loki feelings.
I really liked how the ref was that dark, but (as usual) I regretted it soon enough when I had to make those dark hues myself. Now I'm going to wash all the graphite and charcoal off, and try to get all the cramped muscles back into place.
As I enjoy adding fuel to internetfires, I kept it undefined whether his eyes are green or blue. (Discuss.)
I'm glad you've finally coped with the Loki feelings, I'd not like to see you explode
I like it very much [although, I must be frank towards you, I still don't get everyone's phase about The Avengers. I just don't ]. The face isn't definitely flat, we can see it's built of muscles. Great job on highlighting some parts, like the tip of the nose, cheeks, some parts of the ears. Good you put so many details in his eyes and lips. I can see you poured your passionate feelings into this drawing
