Description
"The most important part of your life was the time that you spent with these people on that island. That's why all of you are here. Nobody does it alone, Jack. You needed all of them, and they needed you."
Christian Shepard
Matthew Fox as Jack Shepard from Lost.
I started this maybe almost two years ago? I don't remember exactly, but it was right after I finished the last season of Lost. And oh boy I cried so much during this scene.
Unfortunately I lost interest in this drawing, mainly because of the leaves. See those bamboo leaves? Hell. I hate leaves. I won't be drawing leaves again soon. Leaves.
But last week I picked it up again, angrily chewed my way through the leaves and after that finishing it was a breeze. I only had some trouble with his colouring his skin (skin tones really are hard) and the dog. But the dog turned out to be fun in the end. I'm not entirely happy with how it turned out (tiny faces are even harder with coloured pencils), but I am happy that I finally finished this.
And yay, coloured pencils!
Done with:
× Evil Estonian paper (200 g/m²)
× .5 mechanical pencil
× Derwent Inktense coloured pencils
× Faber-Castell coloured pencils
× Prismacolor coloured pencils
× (Kneaded) eraser

I have never cried so had watching a show. This ending tore me to pieces.
